Description

Remind yourself of the beautiful Kaua'i shoreline with this 'opihi 'awa (false limpet) shell ring. This little gold ring is a size 8.

The bezel setting around the shell is made from solid 14k gold. The back plate (not seen when worn, see last picture) is made from sterling silver. The smooth ring band is made from 14k gold fill. Using these three materials gives this piece the look of solid gold while keeping the price significantly lower than if all solid 14k gold materials were to be used. 

The little white and brown opihi shell measures approximately 5/8" tall. The sturdy ring band has a clean, smooth design (no texture).

This opihi (limpet) shell was found on the shores of Kaua'i. The shell is 100% natural in color. All of the shells we use in our jewelry are responsibly sourced. No live shells are ever used in our jewelry.

We take great care to accurate photograph all of our jewelry. Please keep in mind that colors will vary from monitor to monitor.

Care

-Store in a dry place when not wearing. Preferably in your Brianne & Co. pouch.

-It is always best to remove jewelry before swimming. However, you can rinse your jewelry with fresh water afterwards if you wear your piece in the ocean. We recommend removing your jewelry before cleaning or going in the pool, as chemicals and chlorine can be damaging to the metal and stones in your jewelry. 

-Use a polishing cloth to clean your silver and gold jewelry. You can also clean your jewelry with warm water, gentle dish soap and a soft bristle tooth brush.
