Description

Everyone needs a classic pearl strand in their life. This particular necklace features 43 beautiful genuine Tahitian salt water pearls. The grey silk cord is knotted in-between each pearl, and the necklace is finished off with a 14k gold ball safety clasp with a stardust texture. This necklace is approximately 18.5" long. 

The colorful pearls range from medium to dark grey, many of which have some peacock coloring to them. The pearls measure approximately 7.9mm-10.6mm large. The smaller pearls are at the back of the necklace while the larger pearls are graduated towards the center. The pearls are semi-round to slightly tear drop in shape. They do have some minor imperfections throughout, but they all have a shiny luster with beautiful coloring.

Care

-Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight when not wearing. Avoid storing your pearls in plastic bags or a safe deposit box. Pearls contain trace amounts of water; a lack of humidity can cause them to dehydrate, crack or lose their luster. These pearls are strung onto silk cord. When not in use, store your pearls laying on a flat surface instead of hanging. Hanging your necklace for long periods of time will cause the silk cord to stretch

-It is always best to remove your pearl strand before swimming or showering. This will preserve the luster of the pearls and the integrity of the silk cord it is strung on.

-Pearls should be the last thing on, first thing off. Always put your pearls on last after applying makeup, perfume, hairspray, and lotion. Take them off first before starting your skincare or shower routine. These products contain chemicals that permanently dull a pearl's natural luster. 

-Use a soft cloth to gently wipe your pearls clean after wearing them. Avoid any chemical jewelry cleaners, as these will damage the nacre of the pearls.
